BATH BOMBS + SHOWER STEAMERS
Happy Whatif? Wednesday, Friends!
Not too long ago, a friend suggested, “you either have to have a lot of money or need to get lucky to start a business.” Having gone through that process and heard from countless friends in the entrepreneurial space, we respectfully disagree. The barrier to entry is more often finding the gumption to get started than stumbling on luck.
Perhaps, luck and context play small roles. More than that though, startups are fueled by the courage to be different, challenge norms, and remain obsessively curious. A perfect example? Today’s guests.
With a less-than-$500 investment, these sisterpreneurs launched a bath bomb company that quickly grew to over $20 million in yearly revenue. If that doesn’t kick your self doubt to the curb, kindly hit “play” and reassess.
This episode is going to be Da Bomb. Yes, I went there.
Glen and I had the absolute privilege of speaking with these two extraordinarily accomplished young women, Caroline and Isabel Bercaw. Although they are most commonly known for founding Da Bomb Bath and appearing on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in their teens, these twenty-somethings have more to offer than their teenhood accomplishments - and more to come.
Isabel and Caroline graciously shared candid responses, funny and heartwarming stories, and their business acumen. In our classic stray-from-the-script style, we covered topics ranging from fashion shows to intellectual property and rounded off the episode by touching on mental health. Buckle up for inspiration and a healthy reminder. . .
We are all capable of wonderful things.
