WHATIF? toasters could print

IMAGINE . . .

Turning breakfast at home into entertainment for the full family.

WHAT IF . . .

What if your toaster could print your face or any image on bread?
What if breakfast became the most creative part of your day?
What if your morning toast could go viral?

Concept Nest LLC is pleased to introduce you to. . .

TOASTIE™

Because Your Toast Deserves Personality

IDEA TYPE: Product | INTENDED INDUSTRY Food & Drink, Home & Lifestyle | CONCEPT NEST VALUES Innovation, Play, Human Connection

HOW IT WOULD WORK

High level description: playful consumer tech and a “smart” appliance that turns selfies and images into toast art

Snap or Upload a Photo - through the Toastie app.

  1. AI Heat Mapping - converts your image into a “toast-compatible burn map” (dark/light zones).

  2. Thermo-Pixel Burn Plate - heats micro-zones of the toaster’s plate to varying intensities.

  3. Custom Burn Cycle  - in 60 seconds, your selfie / image is perfectly toasted onto bread.

HIGH-LEVEL PROBLEMS IT WOULD SOLVE

Breakfast is boring. Toastie adds fun, creativity, and digital-age flair to a ritual that hasn’t changed in a century.

VALUE IT WOULD PROVIDE

A smile every morning plus content worth sharing.

  • B2B or B2C? Both. Direct-to-consumer for novelty buyers, influencers, and gift shoppers, plus B2B for cafés, events, and brand collaborations. Imagine Starbucks printing your images or art on a toastie.

  • Gen Z and Millennials who love to post on social media, and parents with young kids. The kind of people who buy gadgets “for the bit” – but they will keep toastie because It’s weirdly awesome. Also café owners, TikTok creators, and businesses.

  • Thermal control and safety certifications are the biggest constraints. Image clarity may depend on bread type and moisture levels. Production costs need to drop before it can be a retail product.

BONUS DETAILS

Toastie 1.0 would use an app to upload images and sync via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The “Loafie Filter” converts images into crisp toast-prints. Future updates could include bagels and other products.  Long term, Toastie isn’t just an appliance; it’s a new medium for creativity.
